ART.WRITE.NOW, a traveling exhibition showcasing bold works created by the talented teen winners of the 2012 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, is making a stop in Virginia Beach. The tour displays 130 pieces of art and literary works from students around the country. All student works were blindly judged by national panels of experts. This is a chance to have fun, meet new friends and find out about the world’s largest all-girl serving organization dedicated to meeting the unique needs of girls. New member events give girls and adults a brief introduction to Girl Scouts and help interested individuals register for Girl Scouts. Girls can choose any number of ways to be involved with Girl Scouts through Pathways, which include troops, camp, events, series, travel and virtual.
An Irish Dancing Christmas

Get into the spirit of the season with “An Irish Dancing Christmas”! This performance will feature live music by Keltish with fiddler Chelle Fulk, special guest percussionist Catherine Hauke, and brass master Michael Kazalski. The high energy and inspiring dancing will be performed by The Rhythm of Ireland School and the Margie Williams School of Dance. Come hear some of your favorite Christmas songs played with a Celtic flair and watch the dancers enchant you with their rhythmical precision!
